1. Custom Made Products

All blinds and curtains manufactured by Gheftyfraxis are custom-made to your specific measurements and design preferences. Due to the bespoke nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind, incorrect measurements provided by the customer, or colour/style preferences that differ from expectations once installed.

2. Manufacturing Defects

If your blinds or curtains have a manufacturing defect or do not meet the agreed specifications, we will repair or replace them at no additional cost. Manufacturing defects include:

  • Incorrect dimensions that differ from your approved specifications
  • Faulty mechanisms or hardware that prevent proper operation
  • Material defects such as tears, stains, or colour inconsistencies
  • Poor workmanship that affects product functionality or appearance

To report a manufacturing defect, you must contact us within 14 days of installation.

3. Warranty Coverage

We provide comprehensive warranty coverage for all our custom-made blinds and curtains:

  • Roller Blinds: 2 years warranty on mechanisms, 1 year on fabrics
  • Vertical Blinds: 2 years warranty on tracks and mechanisms, 1 year on slats
  • Designer Curtains: 1 year warranty on fabrics and stitching
  • All Hardware: 2 years warranty on brackets, chains, and cords

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper cleaning, accidents, or normal wear and tear.

4. Installation Issues

If you experience problems with your blinds or curtains due to installation by our team, we will return to rectify the issue at no additional charge. Please contact us within 7 days of installation to report any concerns. Installation warranty does not cover damage to walls, windows, or surrounding areas that may result from pre-existing structural issues or non-standard installations.

5. Claiming Under Warranty

To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us via phone, email, or our contact form with details of the issue
  2. Provide photos or videos clearly showing the defect or problem
  3. Include your original order number and date of installation
  4. Allow our team to inspect the product if necessary

We will assess your claim and respond within 5 business days with a resolution plan.

6. Measurement Verification

To minimize errors, we strongly recommend using our professional measurement service. If you choose to provide your own measurements, please double-check all dimensions before finalizing your order. We will manufacture your blinds and curtains exactly to the specifications you provide. Gheftyfraxis is not responsible for incorrect measurements supplied by customers.

7. Colour and Material Samples

We provide fabric and material samples to help you make informed decisions about colours and textures. Please request samples before placing your order to ensure you are satisfied with your selection. Slight variations in colour and texture may occur between samples and finished products due to manufacturing processes and natural material variations.

8. Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled without charge up to 24 hours after placement, provided manufacturing has not commenced. Once production has started, cancellation is not possible as materials are cut and customized specifically for your order. A cancellation fee equal to 50 percent of the order value will apply if manufacturing has begun.

9. Refund Process

In cases where a refund is approved due to manufacturing defects or errors on our part, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval. Refunds will only be issued after the defective product has been returned to our facility or we have confirmed that a replacement is not required.

10. Exclusions

The following are not covered under our return policy or warranty:

  • Damage caused by pets, children, or accidents
  • Fading or discoloration due to direct sunlight exposure over time
  • Damage from improper cleaning or use of unsuitable cleaning products
  • Modifications made by third parties or customers
  • Normal wear and tear from regular use
  • Products damaged during customer self-installation

11. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this return policy limits or excludes any guarantees, warranties, representations, or conditions under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified. You may have other rights under Australian Consumer Law that are not affected by this policy.
